I have a problem with water leaking thru the right front door into the cab. It leaks into the cab from the bottom of the trim panel. I used some rope caulk to seal the moisture barrier to the door shell, but it still leaks.
Since the water is getting into the console, it could cause some shorting or corrosion issues until it is dried out. I would avoid turning the interior lights on until it is fixed if possible. I took it to a shop and they replaced the everything but the condenser. I'm not sure what is going on with it, and I'm lost as to what I need to do besides go to a dealer which is expensive. A very good friend of mine has a 2015 GMC 2500 Duramax Denali and has had the truck back 4 times for a water leak on the passenger side floor. They currently have the truck and have had it for two months and last time he saw it, the dashboard was tore out of it!!!!.
