For a carry piece, I think first and foremost, it needs to be reliable and accurate. After that, you need to like it and shoot it well. If you don't like it or shoot it well, it's worth considering a change. At minimum it's worth buying the duo/ IOS simply to have the option. You can always use it in the irons configuration.
